Getting myself recentered...

Bryan and Mary - we play hard; we sleep well!

I am trying to refocus and recenter after a day of nonstop running with that e-mail in the middle. Honestly the day has been a good one. A dentist appointment this morning (yay, don't need to go back for six months!). Then almost made it to gymnastics. Had a last-minute emergency at school (yes, everyone and everything is fine), so we didn't make it. Instead, we returned shoes (had been putting that off for weeks) and got a hot fudge sundae at McD's. Doesn't ice cream make everything better?!? Only bad thing was, when I asked Katie what she wanted for lunch, she said the sundae WAS her lunch! Oops! Did I do that?!? There are worse things, right?
Don't worry, she also had some yogurt and grapes! We went to bible study and had a wonderful discussion about peace. I really had missed bible study this summer! It is so great to be back visiting with the other moms from church! After bible study (and school), we came home and managed to get through homework and the newsletter, ate dinner and got to soccer practice. We survived soccer practice. Yes, for today "survived" is the correct word! There is something to be said for kindergarten teachers! Oh my! The boys jumped from the van into the car and headed to Cub Scout round-up. The girls and I are home and jammied and heading downstairs so I can burn off the rest of this adrenaline! Have a great night!!!
